Details: Detail Specifications:  approx. dimensions.. 8.0" length  6.25" between centers   This test fixture was designed specifically for those projects that require certification or qualification of a welding operator or procedure.  Clamp down those coupons so you can concentrate on your weld instead of worrying about stress and distortion.  The fixture body is made from a solid block of aluminum and the hold downs are made of certain types of steel.  The insert is designed as reversible with a deeper slot on the opposite side.  This will assist with heavier materials. The full length of the fixture has a stainless steel purging device for clean argon backup. .  The center of the fixture is copper with holes drilled to allow back side optimal purging of exotic alloys such as Titanium, stainless, Inconel, and others.  The fixture weighs about 17 lbs. and  is designed to assist butt welds, lap welds, tee welds.  FREE SHIPPING WITHIN THE LOWER 48 STATES!!
